5 Simple Way to Make Your Scooter Deck Lighter [Street to Hybrid]

Today I'll be showing you how you can mod your street deck and make it lighter without compromising the strength or integrity. These pro tips will help you reduce the weight of your setup to your liking. Go nuts!

Scooter Tips for Weight Reduction (Make your Scooter Lighter)
1. Stealth Cutout - Short and sweet, don't make this too wide or you may not like how it feels when landing tricks.
2. Plastic Brakes - these are great but make sure you buy a few at a time. Re-up each time you replace your deck. Be careful when choosing because there are lots of issues when looking for a brake that fits.
3. Headtube Cutouts - be careful and don't invade any welding
4. Remove the blunt plate - if you don't blunt often, just remove it, same with smiths or if you run front pegs.
5. Don't expect a refund - doing any of this will weaken your deck even if it's ever so slightly. Try to be precise and always get supervision or permission if you're a grommet watching!

i have the og 6" bones with pretty much the same grind on the back but i did mine because the corners were bending up from being hit against things and once it hooked into my leg once and that wasnt pretty, so it can help with safety too i guess XD
