OMAD - Intermittent Fasting ONE MEAL?!

As an Intermittent Faster, I eat One Meal a Day a.k.a. OMAD. My one meal is spread over a number of hours usually. I think of it as a long 3 course meal.... appetizer, entrée and dessert. WHAT I eat within each of those categories certainly changes every day. Also, some days I may simply eat a meal and my eating window isn't open long at all. I try to listen to what my body needs and also go with the flow of the day. I have roughly 30 lbs weight loss with this OMAD method. It's been an easy lifestyle once adjusted and I never feel deprived!

I find it so simple to do one meal a day especially like this. I’ve been fasting almost a year and have experienced with different times. I truly love OMAD, I don’t obsessed over any food. I eat what my body is asking for. I find that there’s so much freedom in this way of eating.

I agree with you 100%… 90% of time I have a 1 hr window but have other days the might be 4-6 hr window… love IF/OMAD have maintained 35lb loss since October 2021

Thank you for sharing and doing this video. I have been trying to be too strict with OMAD, IF, and Keto and I just can't do it. I had so many better results when I was not trying to deprive myself of sweets altogether. This video and your Zero video are real motivators for me. Thank you a lot!

I enjoy your approach and outlook on OMAD. I don't agonize over food choices because what I like and need is mindful eating. I do eat what I love but I don't gorge on craving meals.

I just watched your video on "Fast, Feast, Repeat" because I am trying ADF starting this week (today is my fasting day). I love that here you are eating "real" food, ya know, carbs and all LOL. I haven't had a bagel in months, trying to follow KETO with a 20/4 IMF. I don't find KETO to be sustainable for me personally, but I am getting a better understanding on how they work with my body. I'm looking forward to checking out more of your content, but I just wanted to say that :) thank you!

I've watched quite a few of your videos but must have missed this revelation.. Thanks so much for explaining the 3-course meal approach. I've done OMAD (every weekday, I have weekends off and do 18:6) for over a year but have been completely rigid by only breaking my fast at 23 hours with just one meal. I'm definitely going to use the 3CM way of OMADing from now on without feeling like I've 'failed' that day.

Hi Jackie I’ve been finding that if I have something sweet when I open my eating window I feel so sick so I’ve been having a savoury snack then something sweet later on if I want it. You are keeping me going on this journey with your videos many thanks

I'm currently 14 hrs in planning to go 23 hours. I've been so drained eating normally and of course I don't want to diet so I've decided to try fasting to see if it helps with my energy levels and so far I'm feeling great! usually I wake up and have coffee first thing and then I'm tired all day but I feel so much energy right now. Hopefully fasting is my saving grace 🙏
