All kb exercises you mention are good and so beneficial when done properly. The snatch is more dangerous than american swing if not do it properly.

You nailed it again! Totally agree.... especially with American swing

The first ones alternstive seems way more risk of injury than the original, also who swings that high? Isnt in parallel with the eyes?

Windmill is extremely traumatic. Demands much flexibility.

You need to start with a light kettlebell to get your form nothing short of perfect. Next learn how to properly pick up the kettlebell by squatting and keeping your back straight head up, while you have the kettlebell in your hands and performing your moves your wrist should never move no bending or twisting, always keep your eyes on the kettlebell as if it was a heavy ass piece of metal that can hurt you become the kettlebell

I agree! I cringe everytime i see someone doing the upright row. Hey that clavicle can literally break off at the tip. The shoulder doesn’t allow movement for that in that direction, or theres not enough space for that….Once that tip breaks off, you can kiss your normal weight training days goodbye!

Upright rolls feel good when I use a kettlebell or dumbells.

I've never seen the swing going so high!
To shoulder height is plenty.

My shoulders have been popping and bothering me with the American swing. That’s how I’ve been shown to do, so far. I’m gonna try these with just a 5lb weight and see how it goes.

The SNATCH messes up my wrist. I obviously don't have the correct form or a good enough grip.

Figure 8 from the back with expensive swing clean or snatch.

I’ve returned to the American swing after thinking it encouraged too much lower thoracic extension but I find if I hinge at the top of the swing with activated lats and the mid back braced in slight flexion it feels wonderful on the shoulders, I now use it as a warm up before snatches

On that first exercise that's exactly what happened to me on the upswing with a 15lb kettlebell tore my oblique and abdomen micro-tears due to a severe strain so much so that I blacked out three times and this happened 6 months ago and I am still in a lot of pain and not really healing so now what do I do? I'm about nuts to go back to the gym and I can't even carry my cleaning bucket in my left hand because it's swollen anything I do it reacts to

Ever since being introduced to the Figure 8 I never understood how that exercise could benefit anybody

But aren't the alternatives bad for your wrist?

The first alternative looks dangerous, too, tbh. I'm going to have to pass on the advice in this video.

Ya I disagree. Not only do you have zero control on the down strokes for each move, you’re doing them incorrectly
