You're excited to play Black Myth: Wukong, you load it up, and its an absolute slideshow, but what if I told you that I could get the game to run 7.8x faster and still look absolutely fantastic.

Well let’s jump in, and in order to waste as little of your time as possible I have spent hours testing each setting on an RTX 3060 equipped PC at 1440p to find that these 5 settings have the biggest impact on your FPS and have created 3 presets with the aim to minimize visual impact and maximize performance.

Let's start with my custom high preset which right away I enabled DLSS Quality for a 38% gain followed by disabling Ray Tracing for another 3.2X gain. Then for the graphics settings.

Bad Performance - 0:00
Prefer Graphics - 0:32
Balanced - 2:39
Prefer Performance - 3:42

My benchmark with preferred graphics on my 3060 laptop ran smooth as butter but my actual game hangs and lags a lot, especially in combat

Look just for the record and I think I may be the only one that is realistic about this game-THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN RELEASED YET! I have a 3080 12core AMD system and thank you for you settings btw..But there are still lag issues and many camera issues with this game that unfortunately decreases the enjoyment factor in my opinion. The latest update fixed the FSR issue but the mechanics still suck! This is especially evident with the Boss battle against the Tiger Boss...Just plain dumb.

My game ran perfectly fine, but then the next day I installed reshade which permanently broke the game. despite me uninstalling it and reverting the changes, it still stutters so bad it's that unplayable, despite me having a smooth 60+ fps just the day before. wtf am I supposed to do.. this is nonsense

It's way too demanding, I would never even consider buying it if I can't get at least 140-160 fps at native 1080p/1440p on high settings in none heavy load areas like this. Have a RX 7800 XT and Ryzen 7 7800 x3d etc..
