Have you ever purchased a memory kit, plug into your PC but didn't get the advertised speed? Here's what you actually need to configure in the BIOS to get the most out of your RAM.

#XMP #DOCP #RAM

I have klevv cras xr rgb ddr4 3600mhz with asus tuf b560-plus gaming.
Leave xmp1 with of course 1.35v auto, but not working even with 1 stick.
Bios also updated with latest version. Any suggestion?

I have the exact same kit, the ram forces itself to run at 2660mgz cl20 no matter what I do. xmp doesn't work and neither does setting it manually. I can't even run it a lower frequency, it just locks itself at 2660mhz and cl20 timings. any ideas?. it is on the qvl list by the way

*I’M LOST* ❗ ❗ ❗ and need some good advice.
A number of years ago I had a PC built for me and I now want to have another one built, one that will step up a level or two.
After watching countless videos I’m now completely confused as to what to get or even who to ask…
So I figure the best thing to do is to list the components I have in my PC in the hope that someone out there will take time out to put me on the right track.
The only thing I don’t want is ‘Water cooling’ (Me and water don't get on together : )
I would much prefer a Noctua NH D15 Chromax Black or a Be Quiet Cooler, which I guess that means getting a BIG Case, but that's fine).

OK, here goes :
Case : GameMax Falcon Gaming PC Case
Power supply : Be Quiet Pure Power 9 700 watts
Motherboard : GA-990FX-GAMING
Processor : AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor
Ram : 32 GB Hyper X ram low profile
Graphics Card : NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
Hard drive 1 TB (It's Not an SSD).
~
That's my whole PC
