I worked at the Kentucky Truck Plant(f250-f550 along with expedition and navigator) and I shit you not over OVER 50% of the transmissions had transmission fluid leaking out the front half. Before anyone had attached them to the engine or mounted to the frame. So so sad that a $100, 000 dollar truck or SUV has a brand new transmission leaking fluid. I can say that 2018-2021 had these transmissions leaking at the FACTOR

Metallic painting the inside of the transmission is best done by adding some flakes to the oil

Check depth of spigot bearing in flywheel, if an aftermarket clutch is used they may have also changed the flywheel and its constantly pressing the input shaft into the box

I have a polo gti 2020 facelift, and it has the same problem but with second gear, it is so sad that a software error can be reson for such a damage.
