I have enjoyed Mattias Burling’s videos for a long time and I think he deserves more recognition. This particular video spurred me into buying the Panasonic CM1 no less than three times! European tech reviewers don’t get the exposure that their US counterparts sometimes enjoy and I think Mattias is one of the best.

I went from this camera to a Nokia 8 and then an iPhone 12 Pro. These days I just feel so empty. I am glad I could get a used Leica tl2 but now I have to save up for the thing I actually missed about the cm1. The elmarit 2.8 lens :(

Nice Mattias, I was wondering before when you were going to cover this camera, watching your Leica M8 video, I was hooked on the phone. I started researching it and have pretty much decided to purchase it soon. And for those doubting you, I can vouch that prominent Hong Kong and China retailers on eBay are indeed selling it for around $300. Which if you really think about it, is a goddamn steal for a 1 inch sensor camera.

i have it, it's amazing, only bummer, to replace the battery you have to send it in to Panasonic, wich is ridicolous...the complete phone needs to be dissasembled for battery replacement, plus even if one could do that at home, it seems impossible to find the battery model....
