Thanks for mentioning me. I’ve been with Verizon prepaid for a year and I’m loving the service. The eBay refill cards are the true savers. I still got auto pay in case eBay stops the refills, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon.

And I'm also thinking about At&t prepaid

The quality of prepaid is horrible. Verizon post paid is the best. My girlfriend once had Verizon postpaid and I had prepaid and there is a pretty substantial difference. We are now switching both to postpaid even though it's doubled in price

I just switched to Verizon on straight talk and i have service everywhere i go and love it. However, my speeds slow down to 2mbps when im in a highly populated area. Overall, my speed averages to about 12 mbps and maxes out at 35 mbps. I was wondering does the Verizon prepaid get higher speeds than straight talk Verizon overall?

Whatever you do, DON'T go to T-mobile's Pre-paid service. IT SUCKS. Sure you only pay $100 for your minutes and you can pay only $3 a month for limited talk and text. Calls cost 10¢ and texts cost 10¢. However, you do not get ANY DEALS on even budget phones and they charge you MORE just to buy the phone itself. So yeah don't go to T-Mobile, I'm on it and they suck. Thinking about going back to AT&T.

I’ve got a question. I’m on Verizon prepaid. I have last year's iPhone. Can I order a new iPhone 11 choosing the Verizon service and put my prepaid SIM card in that new phone? I can’t find the answer anywhere.

I’m thinking about switching to prepaid Verizon from metro. How do I go about switching? Can I really just go buy a bring your own device kit from Walmart or should I go to a store?

Visible is a good network, when it works. I had had Visible for the past four months. If you need reliable phone service, Visible is Not for you i.e. stay in touch with work, teachers, doctors etc. On average, the networks goes down, either twice, or three times a week. As of this writing, the network already went down once. Part of the problem is they don't fall back on 3G, or 2G like Verizon, if LTE is Not working you are ship out of luck. Also, keep in mind, the phone selection is anemic. Now, if the phone is working fine, you will experience some high speed data. I gotten speeds ranging from 20- 70Mbps down. Another benefit of having LTE only, all voice, or most are HD voice, clear. In addition, you don't get the intrusive call waiting tone. In other the words, if someone is calling you, the caller can tell you are in the phone, a unique feature to CDMA phones.

*Verizon SUCKS!* I'm (59) years old, and Verizon is easily, hands-down, as in no other contenders, the *absolute worst* company I've EVER dealt with! *E-V-E-R!* I've dealt with those greedy a-holes for probably (10) years now, and it's truly *STUNNING/BAFFLING/AMAZING* what they'll do in order to try and screw someone over. Their persistence is too be admired, though!

People make honest mistakes, and I have no problem having to call back in to rectify an oversight, but with Verizon, 'mistakes' are the norm! Also, I've never (not once) had a mistake made that resulted in me paying *less* money, only *more.*

My latest experience was (2) days ago when I called to cancel a line that was no longer being used. The device was paid for, and no kind of contract existed, so you would think that even considering it's Verizon someone could figure it out, but you obviously don't know Verizon. After it was done I asked what my new bill would be, but the guy jacked me around trying to sell more crap. I was in a hurry so figured I'd check the MyVerizon app to look at my new bill. I did, and it's went *UP* by about $8/month - *FOR CANCELING A LINE!!* The "estimated" new monthly bill, starting in (2) months, will be almost $11/month higher!! *LMMFAO!!* I think that must be part of their, *"Use Fewer Services - Pay More Money Family Plan."*

No one, *NO ONE COMPANY* could possibly, never, make the extremely high number of "mistakes" that Verizon has made in my horrible experience with them - not if they tried. I probably averaged (5) lines at any given time with Dracula, I mean Verizon, and have paid many thousands of dollars per year, but *NO MORE!!* My last child is finally getting married and going on her husband's plan (which is literally *LESS* than half of what I pay Verizon) and I can finally give Verizon exactly what it deserves, and that's not more money. It's a heartfelt *ONE FIGURE SALUTE!!*

I'll use tin cans and a string to communicate before I pay Verizon another penny!!
