Getting a real time, fly on the wall perspective of this mother finding her dead son is absolutely gut wrenching.
I'm an EMT in the northeast and we (like everywhere right now sadly)are riddled with calls and moments just like this. We walk into these moments of life shattering pain and change. I always say "if ppl could only see these types or calls from our perspective...maybe people would wake up...or OPEN up their hearts a bit." Being a witness or a player in events this painful does something to you, it changes your perspective and opens a reality most dont think about. It gives room for pause, contemplation, and to stop and learn something which is what most people require, they need to be jolted into both lessons on compassion and consequence.

You guys have done exactly that by sharing this mothers home security footage of that moment and its powerful. People are so used to hearing about things but when we let them experience things with us...in real time it affects people deeper.

Good job on the awareness and the community you all are creating by making these videos and sharing these people's gut wrenching realities.

Seems like many parents are asigning fentanyl deaths with their child mis-identifying fentanyl as percocet.
They are extremely different in appearance...
