2 years ago I watched your very first video of speaking to a classroom of university students. I used that motivation to get me through my 2nd university degree - I gave up a stable job to go back to school & switched careers mid-life - THANK YOU so much from the bottom of my heart for the inspiration, motivation and drive every Monday =)

i remember watching this exact vid last year aug 20 2013, and here i am opening that same letter you told us to write year i had no job no money relationship problems...and shortly after writing that letter i went through the worst 4-5 months of my life to the point of depression, but i stuck with you ET and here today i am blessed with the opportunity to work my ass off 60 hours a week in my dream job, i recently purchased a brand new car (my all time dream car) and couldn't be happier with my girl friend....SO ET IF YOU'RE READING THIS RIGHT NOW i hope i at least put a smile to your face because of how much you've affected my life and surely those of others

I walked from my job of almost 7 years benefits EVERYTHING away in March 2011....best decision ive ever made. Thank God for my family and boyfriend for helping me. I cant wait to reward them.

A little over a year ago, I began watching your videos... Life changing event without me even knowing it at the time. B'cos of your motivation & my need to succeed, I've decided to walk away from my current job & my country and will be migrating from the Caribbean (among all the naysayers & the negativity) this November to follow my dreams and walk hand in hand with my destiny.

Eric has spent years of his life giving away free material and people are "calling him out" because he doesn't keep giving away free content.  Show me one other 'motivational speaker' type that's given away as much free content as Eric, this consistently.  Of course he's focused on selling his products/services, he should be.  All the people who say 'he fell off' or 'he's selling out' or whatever... you should all be ashamed for being so ungrateful.

I listen to one (at least a day) and i gotta say Thank God i was detoured on my way to getting what i needed, but instead of balling up, i got up sore ankle and all walked 2 and a half hrs to take my truck driving permit test, passed and walked two and half hrs back. Thank you brother

E.T if you read these comments I urge you to consider this post. I have been encouraged by your TGIM's. It would be greatly appreciated if as a leader you would communicate the why of no more new tgim's in quite a long time. You don't owe anyone anything, however it shows great integrity and consideration of your followers viewpoints and feelings when you communicate that you are going to change direction, and focus. It speaks even greater volumes to your character when you communicate the why. Nobody who supports you will hate on your decisions when there is clear cut communication about upcoming directional changes. I can understand growing your business, strengthening your brand, etc. I pray your endeavors are continually blessed, and that your business and industry exposure continue to grow. Stay willing, stay hungry, stay humble. You are only as strong as your last battle.

Eric, I too let go of my job from a private company in which I worked for 3 long years... I was into oracle data processing and I have done everything from data processing to troubleshooting.... I got a promotion there, 4 awards and submitted two innovative ideas. Suddenly I felt disconnected and completely out of place in that job. I have left the job last year and now currently jobless. At this point of time I am preparing for a series of tests in which around TWO MILLION people take part every year for only a few thousand vacant seats.I thank GOD for letting me find you !! I thank YOU so much for keeping your videos available on YouTube for people like me who keep searching for motivation but don't get it. Today I Commit myself to the GRIND ! And .... if God willing I would do my best to meet you in person to share my story with you. Thank you so much sir.... Thank you so much !!

Last November I dropped out of school because it was making me spiritually sick and I tried going to an alternate school for some months but eventually I started to feel like shit again. But when I left my first school I also quit basketball and told myself my basketball dreams were dead. And after I stopped playing I got back pain and figured out there was a tilt in my hip which started from my short achillese tendons so I to do more yoga and home workouts to restore my bodies balance. And 5 months after joining the second school I went into a stage of harder depression than the first so I decided to leave school for good because it was draining my energies. But during that time I had a dream telling me to play professional basketball so I decided I would put my dream of being a rapper/singer on the side and start training my ass off for basketball because I can come back to music any time. And I also started searching good training places and found the Europe basketball academy so I decided I'm going to train everyday while working to save up to go to Europe and after I promised I will represent canada in the 2015 fiba U-19 world championships and then 2016 Olympics. I already bought an amazing training program and I've been training hard to re balance my body so I can get my full athletic abilities back and then I'm going to do the program everyday I can. But since my bodies still changing and growing so fast I can't shoot right so I've been doing the ball handling drills a lot cause it was my biggest weakness. Now I feel that my posterior chain, back, arms and legs are coming into perfect alignment so it's grind time. I have to push myself harder than I ever have before before going to Europe and keep training hard in the european ball school to earn myself a pro contract since I'll be 18. But my real goal is the NBA so I know Europe is just a stepping stone. But I know nobody can stop me but me. It always seemed so impossible cause of all the negative friends and family I had but all the stuff they put me through ended up making me stronger mentally. If you made it all the way to the end of this wish me luck on the next part of this spiritual journey I have ahead of me. - SR
