Very helpful thank-you Mr. Abbott. I have said from the start with Progressive I am prepared to take this to trial which I am, the defendant has admitted 100% liability which I appreciate. The discussion is costs, after 2.5 years I have yet to reach maximum recovery. I am now interviewing lawyers whom are willing to take this to trial as you aptly noted. Thank you for this info... Insurance companies are in it for profit.. Any business.. They care for revenue not losses nor humans. I was injured in a car accident but not at fault. I was rear ended by a drunk driver & suffered head, shoulder, neck, concussions & knee injuries.. I lost my work truck due to being totaled.. Lost wages because I have pain from the the accident. Just a reminder that preparing a case for trial can be expensive, and there is no guarantee that the plaintiff will win. Moreover, there are some personal injury cases that just aren't worth taking to trial. For example, if you only have a soft tissue injury in a no-fault auto accident, probably the best you're going to do is push for the policy limits (which is why most personal injury lawyers won't take soft tissue injury auto accident cases). LOL
