Great video. I find it funny that people make comments about how you marked the garbage piece. People so negative and obviously these people are not carpenters and work wood everyday to understand regardless of size of scrap a common mess up is tossing wrong piece in the moment as well as your video is teaching. Ignore the jealous haters and good job.

Yeah draw all those lines on the SMALL section....otherwise youd forget that the part that needs to ve cut off🙄

It took you longer to write your pointless comment than it took for that area to be marked. Marking the cut-off is the correct thing to do.

Some good tips, plastic container for tools and padlock on bike chain is simple but clever. Personally I would never cut out for a hinge that way though.

I usually just make a simple "X" on the waste side instead of all that scribbling.

Problem is I can do all these tricks, measure 10x and still be wrong

How about using a mitre saw to cut instead of a hand saw.

Clamping a bit of 4x2 to cut with that saw? Taking piss there and the 2nd one? You cut the check out with your teeth? That was enough for me... you aint no joiner!
