Not to get caught up in grammatical details, but the idiom καλώς εχόντων των πραγμάτων (1:00 in the video) may seem strange, but for students of ancient Greek, it is a lovely example of the "genitive absolute" construction. Music to the ears.

I hope I have not made too many mistakes because I forgot to bring my glasses. There are puffins on Lundy Island which is a short boat journey for us in Ilfracombe but I have never had the good fortune to see one when I have gone there. The last time I visiited it I saw many seals and a shoal of dolphins (delphines). The winter climate here, however, is generally very mild . It is quite far south for puffins. My eyesight is not as good as it used to be. Tha eimai 65 chronon i pemdi. Kali Sarakosti!

A very interesting thing happens when I, who speak Brazilian Portuguese and probably those who speak Spanish also, hear a dialogue in Greek. You get the feeling that at any moment you're going to hear familiar words but they never appear and the dialogue ends without you recognizing a single word. 🤡😂
The sound, the way of speaking and even the accent is very similar to Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish, which have many words with vowels open, but the words are totally unknown.
