Top 10 Best Guard Dogs

In one of my videos we have featured already the dog breeds that are excellent watchdogs and now in this video we are going to see which are the top 10 best guard dog breeds. Although both the guard dogs and watchdogs bark loudly to alert their owners of an intruder's presence and to scare them away. The watchdog's function ends here; a guard dog is then capable of attacking and/or restraining unwanted intruders.

Because of their temperament, physical strength, courage, loyalty, and pain resistance, here is my list of what I believe is the top 10 best guard dog breeds.

• German Shepherd
• Rhodesian Ridgeback

• Staffordshire Terrier

how is possible leaving the Cane Corso out of that list, not a serious list at all, Staffordshire terrier first and Cane Corso out top 10 no mention of Boerboel or Turkish mastiff, a video of popularity not information

I've worked with dogs, mostly guardian types, for the better part of my whole of my life. The list in this posting is merely the opinion of the OP, and should not be accepted as absolute!
Dogs are as diffuse in character and ability as people, regardless of dog breed, regardless of which race of humanity; there will always be examples that run the gamut between excellence and abject failure.
If your favoured breed of dog isn't listed, don't lose heart, make your own list; it will be just as valid as the one in this rather poor video.
It is likely, if your dog is of a rarer breed, the OP isn't even aware of it. This is a cartoon of "The Guard Dog", a mere caricature of the reality, drawn up by a self appointed 'expert'!

Are you talking about a guard dog or a killer dog.

All of those dogs are very aggressive, dangerous and unpredictable. You may have guard dogs but the chances are you would have to answer why the dog killed. Trespasser or not. It, s not for you to enforce any law by lethal force.
