I have a 3 year old 100 LB Rotti. No professional training. She instinctually does a parameter check of my property every night before bed. She won’t go to sleep until it’s done. She won’t leave the property but she will chase smaller animals off. She won’t walk out the house unless I give her the okay and won’t leave the property unless I or my kids are walking with her. Makes me aware anytime anything comes near the property. She is also the most lovable dog.

I always wanted a German shepherd, one day I got it he was very sweet and brave, I was once on a walk with him suddenly I was attacked my dog immediately knew what was going on and saved my life he ended up saving not only my life, but my family and friends I will never forget him they are wonderful and I would every day wonder what I would do without him

I have a Giant Alaskan Malamute crossed with a great northern wolf. He’s a wonderful canine who has proved his worth more than once. I was home alone while my husband who is military was overseas and an intruder broke in in the middle of the night. The intruder left on a stretcher with half his face and neck torn out. He’s a very well trained dog.

Rottweiler is my favorite. Had one got him at 7 months, he died at the age of 11. I truly miss him and its been over ten years.

I love my Belgian Malinois. They are crazy! Need alot of exercise, but they want to be with their person ALL THE TIME. The most loving dog I have ever had. My husband has three hunting dogs, but now he wants one VERY intelligent!!!

Doberman's are my favorite. I've had German shepherds (great) but Dobermans are such natural yard and family guards. One night I hear our late Doberman "Storm" growling so I go to the door with my handgun. I hear a voice outside and I notice she is literally trying to open the door with her teeth to get outside. We wait a few minutes and I see no one through the peephole so I go back to bed. She follows me and sits at the edge of the bed on my wife's side at attention guarding the rest of the night. Our now two-year-old Doberman "Phoenix" is coming along nicely as a guard dog too.
