They CONFISCATED my first Formula 4 TROPHY #f1 #racing

This is the story of when my first ever trophy in racing was confiscated after incurring a penalty. I was pretty quick from my years of Forza, but I had absolutely zero race craft. Of course it improved with experience, but my first race saw me yeet another driver into the shadow realm which justifiable gave me a 9 second penalty. I blamed the mirrors at first, but my coach quickly taught me that situational awareness is always on the driver to keep present at all times. It's a lesson I was glad to learn early in the season, because we won 9 out of the next 14 races before clinching my first championship!

Man I am impressed with your honesty. It shows how many factors there is in racing. This is also another example why hot lapping all the time as practice isn't good. You need opponents so when they are on the racing line you know how to race and think

If you heard him say he was in his Blindspot that’s a bad position for a different racer. If you get trapped in the Blindspot of another racer you’re screwed up you’re going off the track.

year and a half from rental karts to F4 US? You're extremely lucky and extremely privileged. I spent years trying to get funds to race IRL from results in simracing esports and didn't succeed. I won an F4 test but was too tall to fit in the car. Congrats on your life bro, but you really didn't make enough of it. Reminiscing about this on shorts to create more money for yourself, a real great image for the up-and-comers! Maybe you should just tell them their dreams are impossible instead.
