Actually he didn't cheat banks, the business model did not work as expected!!
Many airlines has collapsed caused huge loss after kingfisher so can't blame him completely.
In usa even companies like GM have been bailled out by the government but it won't happen in india.
Fun fact : he said he will pay the dues but asked to waive off the interests to the banks and the banks denied !!
