Two things you can always appreciate about Andy is he’s always humble, and he’s always open to learning and improving

That Egyptian BBQ fusion looked really interesting, thank you so much for checking that out and bringing us along.

That last guy, the Egyptian dude. He made me almost tear up with his genuine love for food and his culture that he blended so beautifully into the Texas BBQ he makes. The platter he served you was made with passion and love and that made me slightly emotional knowing such fine people exist. Bless that dude.

Kudos to all the BBQ spots. My favorite was the last Chef incorporating his own culture into his own style of BBQ. Great episode.

As a Texan, I greatly appreciate this video. In Texas, north south east west central, the bbq is all a little different but all good. The main things I hope hit home are 3 things: keep it simple, have good quality meat and let your meat and wood do the talking, and have good side dishes

I love that no matter how good Andy is, at the end of the day, he remains a student. Humbled and perceptive to the nuances of every dish. Bless up chef!

As an Aussie, I always thought BBQ was over rated (based on what I've tried to date) but after seeing Blacks and KG BBQ, I was genuinely salivating! Andy thank you and the team for teaching me something different about BBQ!

That Egyptian place at the end, next level. The best of BBQ meets the vibrancy and spice of the middle east. Looks so good!

As a native one spot you missed out on was definitely Leroy and Lewis BBQ. They're a bit of a hidden gem unless your a local, so don't blame you for not knowing about that spot. The must have item on there is the Bacon Rib. Not something you can eat every week, but definitely something I would eat if I flew in to town just for it. The sides there are also good which I can't say for most Texas BBQ places. Also Texas in general has amazing fusion food, so glad it got some representation with KG BBQ.

This was a captivating bbq journey. You did a fantastic job showcasing the past, present and future of bbq flavors and it can all be found in Texas. Cheers!

"We're just the next step in a long process " dude absolutely loves what he does and is no doubt very good at it. We need more people that are this passionate about what they do.❤

Andy you are the best. Just a genuine man. You have and make so much joy in your life. I had a thought about this BBQ. And you might have said this already idk. But we see the way you cook. "Yes chef" you fast and precise and efficient. And that always doesn't translate to BBQ. So glad to see you in the States and relaxing and enjoying your time . And maybe some of that Texas BBQ might help you back home.

I frequently visit Egypt and work with many Egyptians. I must say that they belong to one of the most hospitable cultures worldwide. It was truly fascinating to witness an Egyptian man adding his own twist to Texas BBQ, something I didn't expect to see. The food he prepared looks incredibly delicious and is the one I'm most eager to try. However, I was surprised not to find stuffed pigeons on the menu, though! Haha.

I'm from Fiji and absolutely love watching bbq videos from Texas and adore Texans on how they take pride in cooking bbq. Its beautiful to watch how they explain their work of art. I wish one day I get to try it. Thank you Andy for showing these.

Super happy you went to KG. All the other spots are of course fantastic, but when I learned about KG combining Egyptian and Middle Eastern flavors with Texas Style BBQ, I knew it had to be something special.
