this is how people don't notice when their roommate is dead in crime documentaries lol

This makes all the true crime stories where men go missing and it takes like a week for someone to report them missing make so much more sense.

The only inaccuracy is how fast Cooper responds 😂

My wife was raised by a man-child con artist and by her male friends. 100% accurate that she would couch surf for weeks and no one would ask where she was. Her culture shock was moving in with her mom and meeting me. "Did you make it home? You didnt die in a car crash in the twenty minutes since I saw you, right???" Her: utter bewilderment. "Yeah no I'm good."

Honestly, the fact that they know each other's names is already a pretty high bar.

"Some days are just busier than other days, I'm not gonna judge." Is so fuckin real

True, , , been living with women housemates for my whole college years and we all knew where everybody went, with who and what they were probably doing.
Sometimes we even know what each other are wearing so we can give detailed description when someone ask us about their exact coordination.

"I think he sent me a TikTok yesterday" is the realest shit I've ever heard. Like me and some friends won't talk for weeks, but the entire time were sending eachother memes and shit.

As someone who grew up with mostly brothers this 100% accurate.
“Where did xxx go?”
“Idk. What is he wanted or something?”

Her impression of the guys, word choice and demeanor, is absolutely on point. I love that she doesn’t understand them acting like that and yet can perfectly recreate the behavior

It’s so real. It’s cause we’re socialized differently. It’s understood that when a woman goes missing she’s in danger cause it happens a lot. So women are always watching out for eachother

love the added detail of the first guy remaining focused on his game

The "Oh yeah I guess he hasn't" Is perfect. The body language, the inflection in the voice, all of it.

As a dude whose friends have all gone missing, this is hilarious.

I liked living with women, it was nice having people to check in with and chit chat to when we were in the shared spaces.

"I think he sent me a tiktoks the other day" is best and realest part of this

had a roommate leave for three months, paid rent every month so we figured he was fine. When he came back he just said he’d been sleeping at work because it was easier.

It genuinely concerns me how carefree they can be LOL

Edit: No, I don’t have an anxiety disorder, no, I don’t think men are irresponsible or incapable of taking care of themselves. Im purely saying to me (and a lot of people), being missing for 3 days is worrisome especially without prior notice.
Tone is hard to read over the internet 🤷‍♀️ Take it easy!

Im in a sharehouse with two male roomates (five people including me total) and holy shit the difference.

The girls will always mention where theyre going, the approximate time theyll be back, theyll text if theyre going to be late, etc.

The guys however almost NEVER mention when theyre leaving or when theyll be back. Theyll say goodbye, theyll say see you later but rarely ever mention how long theyll be gone. Once, after almost an entire day of no contact with one of the guys, he finally texted us back saying he forgot to mention he was flying down to Newcastle for a few weeks for a family wedding.
