All the good you have done for Panasonics mft popularity then they should fix your gx9 for you free of charge. Everybody hit the thumbs up to get Mattis gx9 fixed foc.

Great to see you with some M43 stuff again :) Nice stuff.

I've had both of these as well as the 15mm for some time. They all take great pictures, I do wish Panasonic would make a GX880 II or something similar in size, my OM-1 is great but too much for these cute little lenses, and my Pen F works fine, but I miss my Lumix cameras and would really like the new AF on a smallish body.

Finally m43 content. I can't wait for more video like this

I own the 20mm and 14mm. Both pancakes, both not perfect, both great lenses. Light, compact and affordable. Great photography experience

I use my 20mm f1.7 quite often, and I enjoy using it a lot - especially on compact cameras like my Olympus Pen E-PL1. But, my two favorite MFT lenses are the Leica Lumix 15mm f1.7 and the Olympus 75mm f1.8.
When I do low light event photography, I use a GX8 with the 15mm f1.7 and an E-M5 iii with the 75mm f1.8 for the majority of the evening - though I do often use a Sigma 30mm f1.4 as well. Even though these are bigger lenses - especially the 30mm f1.4 and 75mm f1.8, they are still compact compared to other sensor size options.

Hello Matti, I have the panasonic 14 mm, with the conversion kit, fish eye-wide and macro. Very nice to play. Camera is the Olympus pen EP-5 . I really love this kit.

There's nothing like new gear to get you out and about! I can't wait to see some more in-depth images. It could be interesting to see pictures from the one lens on each of your cameras.

The pana 20 has a lot of personality. Very sharp, a bit of vignetting that isn't distutbing me. really awesone. Af is slow but accurate but it's quite loud.

I have them with the GX9 and love them both but particularly the 20mm. Thanks for your video, great job.

I have both and love both, using nowadays mostly on an OM-5. A simple, and small kit (even with the Oly 75mm f/1.8)

I have actually taken the same path as you regarding the 20/1.7; had it, sold it - and just recently bought it again. I bought the first 20mm (mk.1) used shortly after I bought my first MFT cam (Lumix GM1 - still got it, thank god!) early in 2014 as a low light supplement to the kit lens (12-32mm). I got rid of the 20mm a few years later (when I bouth into the Sony FE eco system in 2018) for the same reason as most mention, when they get rid of it; the slow and limited autofocus capabilities: It wont work with AF-C on a Lumix body, and it’s SO slow and noisy to use in AF-S, that I now prefer to use it in MF mode - which is why I bought it again: Going back to basics, slowing things down; shooting candid stills in black & white manually focused - and shooting black and white candids with the 20mm in MF is just like rediscovering how much fun and how rewarding photography actually is as when I first found out as a teen in the mid 80’s. Never had the 14mm/2.5 - but do I have to mention it’s on my bucket list?! I think the 14 and the 20 mounted on a small mft body are all you need lens wise for most everyday shooting situations (if you are not a birder) - not least for street photography; ‘keep it stupid simple’, and be happy! :)

I work professionaly all day with this 2 lenses and a 50 mm 1, 8 mm for portraits in a Lumix G3. Perfect for social media and really cheap for change if something brokes

Nice lenses especially for photo walks. I’m a fan of the PanaLeica 15mm but it’s quite big by comparison. It’s actually my most used lens, unless I’m birding. And nice to see you also talk positively about Lumix MFT gear again. Cheers 😊

The Panasonic 14/2.5 is often gluded to one of my GX9 bodies...Its always been one of my favorites.

I have the 20mm f1.7, it's brill. I work in an office with a lot of workers, when there is a retirement party, it's usually at a darkly lit venue. I photograph everyone, they are super happy for the photo ops. BECAUSE I DON'T NEED A FLASH. Why they are happy, lol

I've had the 20 for a long time. When I first got it, I thought the FL was odd, having come from shooting 28 and 50 in film days. But after shooting with it for two weeks on holiday, I fell in love with it. It is now one of my two favorite lenses for general and street shooting, along with the Oly 17 1.8. These lenses are not too long, not too wide, just right for me.

I love the 1, 7/20. It is very sharp, very compact and it is a 1, 7, not at all a slow lens

having both since years – great set for travel. Together with olympus 45 1.8 making unbeaten ultralight set. I use them with olympus body (m10 mk4) and do not notice any problems

hi Matti, yes I have both and they are great tiny lenses. But let us not forget the tiny Panasonic 12-32mm zoom lens! It is optically worse than these 14mm and 20mm BUT 24-64MM in tiny package is just sweet. 😊
