I wanna add something for Lee Jordan: he basically had the leading role in Potterwatch during deathly hallows. That's very brave because so many snatchers were hunting people who tried to help harry

For me the bravest thing Harry did was walking to his own death willing to sacrifice himself for everyone elses fate. Just imagine that at the age of 17 years old.

Would put Sirius in the bravest category.Stood up to his entire family. Was ready to get tortured to insanity and killed by Voldi to save his best friends. If James is in the bravest categor then so is Sirius.

Although Arthur and Molly weren't THE bravest, the fact that most of their 7 kids went into "the bravest" category just shows what excellent people and parents they were!

At one point in this list we have to wonder where the line between brave and stupid goes

Harry spent 10 years enduring abusive conditions and with absolutely no friends and - unlike Draco - he chose to reject his toxic upbringing and treat people with kindness and decency. He constantly put his friends and fellow students above himself even when they turned on him (which happened on more than one occasion). Not to mention that when the chips were down, he was basically always the one who got the job done. Quirrell, Basilisk, Dementors, Voldemort multiple times etc. In the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, he - along with Neville - was still standing when the Order arrived while everyone else had gone down. He was the only person smart enough to deduce the correct path of the Elder Wand and thus figure out that he actually had the advantage when everyone else who knew about the wand assumed Voldemort did. He figured that out in the middle of a huge battle. Good luck to anyone else in the entire series piecing that together in those circumstances. Not the first time either; just by watching Malfoy's behaviour in Diagon Alley, he deduced that Malfoy joined the Death Eaters, which nobody outside of Dumbledore (who already knew) believed. Harry's logical/tactical sense is very underrated. And in case anyone forgot...he willingly walked into what looked for all the world like a certain death sentence when he allowed Voldemort to strike him down, just so the world would have a chance to defeat him.

Sure, he's impulsive and quick to anger, but all that does is make him human. His kindness, empathy and courage far outstrip his flaws and bear in mind, he turned out to be a truly good person even while a piece of Voldemort was literally living in him. Wearing a Horcrux as a necklace was enough to amplify a person's negative traits, so imagine how much worse it would be with it actually merged with you. That Harry overcame that and an abusive upbringing to still be so good is a strength of character unmatched in the series.

Also, small thing, but his sassy snark is up there with the Twins and Ron for best humour in the series.

Harry Potter is an amazing character and a truly extraordinary person

I’d honestly love to see this list with the other houses with their respective traits. It’s a really cool insight into characters that we never really think about!

Sir Cadogan's act of bravery is so badass, I'm shocked I didn't know about it until now.

And yeah, Harry is definitely the bravest Gryffindor. Even when he felt fear, he just kept going, which impressive, considering how he had numerous instances where he could've died.

This video is just perfect for me as a Gryffindor myself.

Agree with almost the whole list…. Other than Sirius. I think it should be noted that he went against his ENTIRE BLOODLINE and embraced being a Gryffindor. He was outcast from his entire family… and he held strong. Also, holding steadfast for so many years in Azkaban, breaking out…. The first person to do so… he’s in bravest.

sirius is one of the bravest character in the books, to face recapture by the dementors the creatures he was tortured by for years, he was terrified of them and yet he still faced the risk, he should be top tier

Dumbledore didn't put off his fight with Grindelwald out of cowardice, he literally couldn't because of the blood pact. And as soon as it was broken, he immediately faced the man he was in love with for the sake of the world, and even orchestrated his own death to take down Voldemort

I agree with this list. But honestly the bravest and strongest thing Harry did was be Harry. A brave, kind, and Loving soul despite everything life, fate, and magic threw at him. We all know what he went through and to still be able to Love, to not given in to fear and hate, and after everything to still Love. Is absolutely the very pinicale of Bravery, courage, and nobility. A true Gryffindor.

I would actually put Molly in the bravest tier just simply for the fact that she allowed ALL her children to fight and be in the order so she literally believed in the cause enough to put all her children in mortal danger and as a fellow woman and aunt, that’s for me the utmost form of bravery and sacrifice especially after she lost 2 brothers already in the first wizard war

Add in Ron and Hermione choosing to go with Harry to hunt the horcruxes, Ron standing up for Harry on multiple occasions like when his classmates such as Seamus gave Harry a hard time in the Order of the Phoenix, and Harry and McGonagall showing no fear toward Umbridge.

You forgot to mention lupin's cowardice in his adulthood, when he left his pregnant wife

An excellent video and I hope you'll follow up with similiar rankings for the other houses i.e. loyaltiest Hufflepuff, wisest Ravenclaw and most ambitious Slytherin.

Always happy to see Neville getting some love ❤ Neville is one of the best characters Harry Potter in my opinion.
Harry's mom is pure bravery. 100% top tier.
I think I would make only one change and that's moving Molly to top tier because she had just lost her son and yet she kept going on and protecting her remaining kids, taking down a pretty powerful witch. 😬

Great list would’ve put Sirius higher as when he declared that he would’ve died rather than betray his friend is so true about his character and I wholeheartedly believe that.

I agree with everything but Sirius, I believe he should have been in the bravest category, the reason for this is because though he was reckless, he did a lot of it from his heart, and even though he enjoyed his acts of bravery doesn't make him any less brave in my opinion, in fact I feel as though he is more brave to be able to have fun during those times is a whole other level of bravery...also I wanna say that you are honestly one of my favorite youtubers and really just increase my love for Harry Potter!
