Get the anchor point away from the tree on a a choker style ridgeline.
Boost the versatility of the line. Make take down easier because the connection is closer to you.
Usually a prusik is the best option for adjustability, but this can also be done quickly without any added components. #myerstechhammocklab #teammyerstechusa recommended channels...

I can watch this stuff all day long, now I actually have to get my hammock, lol! I like to research to death before I buy and your channel has been invaluable.

Just came across your channel and subscribed. Love ropes and knots.work for a utility and used to rig a lot of things. Now starting to get into hammock backpacking. Looking forward to catching up on your videos.

Nice idea. A lot like a truckers hitch

The front image of the video shows use of a prusik knot, and that is not in the video. That would probably be how I would use it, but, really, the photo is enough. Great idea! Thanks for sharing. Two questions: 1) What do you do with the other end of the ridge line, which is, I assume, the one where you adjust for length? 2) Any tips on splicing Zing-It? I find it difficult and tedious. Maybe I just do not have the dexterity for it.
