What I’ve learned from listening to coach Greg for the last two weeks:

Training:
-Train every muscle group twice per week
-15-20 sets per week per muscle group (so about 7-10 sets twice a week)
-12-15 reps per set
-Set should take 40-60 sec
-Work to rest time ratio is 1:3
-Train harder than the last time!

Nutrition:
-You can gain muscle on a caloric deficit, but don’t starve yourself
-Eat 5 times per day
-4 hours between every meal
-Eat right after waking up and just before bed
-Count only your calories
-1 gram of protein per pound of LEAN bodyweight (per day)
-Low calorie dense foods so you’re full
-Popcorn is better than rice
-Eat your greens
-Artificial sweeteners are not going to kill you

Listen to Dr. Greg 100% of the time and you’ll be right 98% of the time

As someone who did calisthenics for years and the only way to train my biceps were chin-ups, pull-ups, rows i was surprised of how much my biceps were lacking in size and strenght. The moment i joined gym and started to do some isolation exercises too for the biceps like curls thats when i finally noticed results. I had the same issue with the triceps too. Problem with calisthenics is all exercises are compound and the bigger and stronger muscle groups tend to overtake the smaller ones.
