Been hard stuck gold since a few months ago. I used this method not expecting too much but I absolutely shocked myself by dropping a 40 bomb and a 30 bomb in two consecutive games and finally hitting plat. You earned yourself a new subscriber bro, love the content!

I've made myself a step to step practice list based on prems and your method and have been doing it for the last 5 days and although I was really pissed while doing audio 180s bc I was hitting 3 to 5 shots out of 30 it became easier with time as for now I hit about half of all the shots(with guardian tho, almost every time shooting 2 shots, sheriff will be my next goal), and I feel like this is a really useful exercise

I have a couple thoughts on this routine, some good, some bad;

First off, the first routine with practice bots elevated is a good idea. Its basically a reaction of 1wxts in kovaaks and is a decent alternative that incorporates real game stuff like recoil and others.

The second, being the 180 flicks, is quite literally horrible. The concept of having good awareness and being able to flick semi-accurately to targets that you can't see is a good skill, but it isn't a skill that you can develop through LITERALLY doing 180 flicks. It's not good because if you can't see the target, you have nowhere to aim to. this can build bad habits. What i recommend doing is wide angle flicking, and as you get better at that your awareness and target switching from wide angles (i.e. something like 180 flicks) will become better. You can't just "memorize" the amount of 'flick' you have to do on your mousepad to flick to a certain target with the only input being audio queue.

The third thing being edge tracking - for anyone who doesn't know, edge tracking is a concept in tracking with the same exact purpose as sena described. I assume n0ted just incorporated this element of tracking as a 'tip' in val aiming to fill up time, but IMO this is a horrible idea for a clicking based shooter with low ttk like val. Sena's (or n0ted's) explanation of this kind of aim being more efficient for when you tap-strafe to the opposite direction is somewhat true, but they are missing a vital point; they are assuming that the enemy will stand still. They can also strafe left or right, and you can also strafe left or right. This creates too many variables - thus making edge tracking useless and inefficient for a clicking based shooter. The reason that edge tracking works in tracking based fps is due to the fact that the opponent's movement is more predictable, as you are tracking them while they are moving, so there is only so many directions they can go to (thus making edge tracking viable).

HOWEVER - the practice that sena did in the video, of keeping your crosshair at head level and moving towards a certain direction - is actually decent smoothness practice, so i'd recommend doing that, though it is not for edge tracking.

Tips for better aim

1. Good mousepad (comfortable)
2. Good mouse (comfortable)
3. Good ping
4. Good fps

No matter how good u aim, these 4 numbers will always affect your game.
