So lately monitors have been getting higher and higher refresh rates as time goes on. Refresh rates from 144hz all the way up to 360hz, and now 390hz. Introducing the new Acer XV252Q F, Acers brand new 390hz gaming monitor. It seems like we are slowly reaching the magic 1000hz refresh rate. Its a 24.5 inch 1080p display with an IPS panel. Adaptive sync is also a feature along with AMD FreeSync Premium. Colors are going to be no joke as well with a 99% sRGB gamut coverage and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. It is sort of a basic HDR experience but most people getting it aren't too concerned with color or HDR. Its main purpose is for high level competitive gaming. Which its 1ms grey to grey response time is definitely going to help with. The monitor is listed for ~€530 which converts to about 640 usd. No release date has been announced at this time.
