This mac and cheese is creamy, cheesy and super rich! To make this easy homemade macaroni and cheese you need only 3 ingredients and 20 minutes of work. This is the easiest stove top mac and cheese recipe you can find, if your family and kinds love classic comfort food they will love this recipe.

Ingredients:
4 cups (1 liter) Milk
12oz (340g) Pasta (elbow macaroni)
7oz (200g) Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon Paprika

Directions:
1. In a large pot, bring milk to a boil.
2. Reduce to medium-low heat, add macaroni and cook, stirring frequently, until the pasta is cooked, about 12 minutes.
3. Remove from heat, add the cheese and stir until melted and incorporated.
4. Serve and enjoy!

Notes:
• You can use any kind of cheese that you like. Or combination of several cheeses.
• For extra creamy mac and cheese add 1 more cup to the pot of milk.

Update: Ok so it was good but it tasted a little bland, I added some butter and it was better but it would’ve been better to put it on the milk I think. I also recommend boiling the pasta on water for a little while and then on the milk bc it was kinda hard when I boiled it on milk.


Update again: I made it again for my mom with the butter on the milk and pasta boiled in water and it was BOMB

I JUST TRIED IT AND IT'S TASTY. I read a comment saying that i should boil it in water first for about 5 to 7 minutes and then boiling it with milk and adding 1 tbsp of butter. It worked. I love butter so i added 2 tbsp of butter instead of one. And i only had mozzarella cheese at home so i used it instead of cheddar cheese.
TRY IT, YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

I cooked this, and I got some weird looks from my family members after they saw me putting a liter of milk and boiling it. Only to come back moments later wanting to get a taste of the mac and cheese I made. Thanks for the recipe! It's very delicious!

NEXT DAY: Did it for lunch. The garden guy, hubby and I as well as our 2 fur-babies absolutely loved it. I put cheddar as well as mozzarella cheese and also some bacon and some butter. It really was to-die-for. I also added a little minced garlic and Italian Herbs....and oh yes, some pasta spice instead of salt.

For ppl like me, who just wants one serving i gotchu
I divided it into 1/4 which is probably enough for a person





Grate half a cup of cheese
1 cup of milk
85 grams of pasta/ 3/4 cup
Obviously season it to watever u like
EDIT: I recommend you add more milk and more cheese cuz when i made mine, there aas so little milk but the pasta hasnt cooked yet so either add more milk or add milk at different times which was what i dod. Also add more cheese. Cuz its *CHEESE*

I made this right now in like 15 minutes. It was great! I added cooked ground beef for protein. I didn’t have cheddar so i used Monterrey and colby. And i added for seasonings and made it spicy. It was really good and super easy 👍🏻

What have I been missing?! This is delicious, and I’ve tried and tried with butter and flour and different kinds of cheeses as various temperatures… boiling and then baking…
It really is this simple to get the *perfect* sauce texture

So if you're not too lazy and want this to be a little better I recommend you do this:

1. Boil the pasta in lightly salted water for half the time it says on the package (until the pasta is al dente = still a bit raw inside), also that way you can reduce the amount of milk you need by almost half in case you don't have that much
2. Add some butter to the milk (about 1-2 tbsp), it'll make the sauce creamier and richer OR you can replace the butter and a portion of the milk with heavy cream - it's gonna make THE WORLD of a difference
3. Don't be afraid to season and taste while cooking (be careful though, it's HOT!)

And you can replace the cheddar with any other cheese that melts well (e.g. gouda, dry mozzarella, emmentaler), but be warned that it's gonna taste a bit different and it won't have that beautiful orange-y look, but food is food, right? ;)

Edit: if you're using a mild cheese/don't have sharp cheddar, you can add 1/4 tsp of mustard powder, it gives the dish that "kick"

You can use heavy cream and add 2 tablespoons of butter for a richer outcome. I like to add some extra cheese on top with fried onions. Throw it in the oven on 350' for ten minutes and enjoy. This is a solid and easy recipe in the video, nice job!

That recipe is absolutely delicious. What I love to do is add a bunch of bacon cubes with a lot of seasoning. Then just add them when your Mac n Cheese is done. Really fits to it imo!

Made this today with provolone cheese, cheddar and some brie. Added Onion Powder, garlic Powder, Cayenne, smoked Paprika, Lots of pepper, nutmeg. Was great!
