You just live! And video it! And I love that. Anything one does as a gardener, such as cooking, building, or whatever else, is on your channel. It's great! And I love to recommend you to anyone who will listen! Lol

I'm going to try this for sure. As with another poster I usually make the bechamel cheese sauce. I figure that as long as you use the 1x1x1 ounces per ingredient you can make larger quantities...to a certain degree at least.

Came out surprisingly well! Big thumbs up from my three rugrats. I threw some frozen beans, peas, and carrots. Great flavor with extra sharp cheddar ...thanks as this is def. A "keeper"!

I recently came across one of your videos and have become one of your biggest fans. I am also a fan of boxes mac and cheese with Kraft being a favorite. Last night I made this recipe and I impressed myself. It was just as easy as a boxes version and was a nice change. Thank you for sharing your knowledge in a fun manner.

OMG! We made this last night and I gotta say it was the best mac and cheese I've ever tasted. I figured I'd just round up and used a pound of pasta (Rotini), a pound of sharp cheddar and a pint of evaporated milk. Added a half stick of butter at the end. Well it made enough for a medium sized army! We'll have leftovers for quite some time. Thanks for posting this, it couldn't have been easier!

How brilliantly simple and looks delicious. Definitely going to try this out. Veggie or meat additions are always good and yes, definitely got to have mustard. As always, enjoy the camera operators input and LOL when she asked you about the salt as I did the same today, almost forgetting the Worcestershire sauce while making chili in the IP and sneaking it in at the end (recipe from pressure luck - it’s awesome). I think you guys actually got more snow from that storm than we did, but we got the bitter cold. BTW, love the block print card - thanks.

Eric, my 10 year old daughter loves mustard on her Mac and Cheese!! I didn't know other people even do that!

nice post Eric.
especially when accompanied with that lovely background voice of moral support.
here in the mid-south temps been hitting single digits. Nothing like good o'le comfort food.
Now I gotta head out to the kitchen!

Oh see I'm a big time fan of baking/roasting. And I take copious pix of it and post it all over social media. Very drool worthy stuff too. And regards temps and snow - it's just the way I like. It might drop 2 to 10 inches but a couple days later the temp ramps up and it's all gone.

One more step, dump into a shallow making dish 9 by 13? sprinkle with two to three more ounces of cheese and place under broiler until melted and is beginning to brown,

My mom made homemade macaroni and cheese when I was growing up. I think I was nearly 20 before realized that macaroni didn’t come cheddar-colored right out of the box.

I have a six-year-old that would eat macaroni cheese six times a day if she could. I will have to try this out for her once we run out of all the instant macaroni and cheese bowls. As much as she loves peas, I don’t think she’d eat it with the peas though. Thanks for the video.

Will try to add the milk myself.
We have a family recipe, 2 cups water, 1 cup mac, boil to al dente, strain off any water, back on low heat and stir in 1 or 2 cups cheese, and 1 or 2 cups of diced ham to taste. Now that I have kids I also add frozen peas to it... or frozen pea, carrot, corn mix. Whatever it takes to convince myself it's more healthy..

Wow! Must try this, I usually make it the long way (bechamel et al), takes an hour most times. Try putting English mustard in with the evap milk :)
