After a heavy rainstorm I buried a 50c coin at 9" . Ran the legend, impact with 40cm coil, nox 700, xterra pro, xp orx . The simplex was the only one that hit albeit an iron grunt . Highly mineralised and saturated soil made all of my machines absolutely useless .

Simplex+ is still a monster machine and it's shows with all the finds coming out recently... cool video Liam

It all comes down to the angle and if it would stop you depth aswell is going to make a difference in wether you can catch it or not one thing i dont miss about the simplex is that tone lol thanks for sharing 😁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The tests that Iffy and I posted were using small silver, specifically a U.S. silver dime. Larger silver like the coin in your video (looks to be about the size of a U.S.quarter) will work better, but the most commonly found silver coin her is the U.S. dime.

Most entry level detectors will struggle with this test, Just tried my simplex with sp24 not a pip out of it lol

Multi frequency has not to be the best feature on field. Probably a single frequency machine with good speed recovery, sensitivity and with a quality coil will do the best job. SMF is a beach feature in my opinion

Sometimes you wonder is it worth handing 1000 pounds or more on a detector when the simplex runs that good.

That coin must be about 5 inches away from the coil. Iffy's spanner was only about an inch off the ground. Not on a house brick 😂
