What is Matter? #smarthome

There will be no real Matter until support exists for Garage Door Motor controllers and DC Motor Ceiling Fan controllers. My homemade ESP32 Matter controllers I use with servos to flush my toilets are rock solid though. But, ALL Switches and Dimmers in my home MUST be Lutron... ONLY!
I have found these things to be true:
🔥 WiZ smart bulbs on top of Lutron Caséta CLARO is the absolute BEST for wife approval because WiZ bulbs allow power-on presets. So Apple Home turns On/Off the Lutron Switches while the wife controls WiZ Bulb colors and presets in the WiZ App. She loves it.
🔥 Guest Bathroom and the Laundry room lights ONLY need a Lutron MS-OPS2H Motion Sensor switch. Fancy WiZ bulbs with power-on settings there too, make her ecstatic! The Bathroom exhaust fan has a CLAIRO set in the Lutron App to go auto-off after 10 min. Lutron is just so much more reliable and and value-building. 😉 Happy wife... Happy life.

right ... that's why the only controllers are apple, google and amazon. You need those as hubs

A better question would be, what is the Matter with Matter and why is it so hard to work with sometimes?

MATTER (at present) is a piece of you know what that's full of bugs that should be avoided at all cost for at least a year until all the bugs are fixed.
