How to make Orgeat | PECAN SYRUP RECIPE

Показать описание
If you're going to make the Happy Balls Bourbon Flip, you need to the pecan syrup recipe! Pecan Orgeat, or Pecan Syrup, isn't just for cocktails- this nutty syrup is amazing on pancakes, waffles, ice cream... pretty much anything that you want to add syrup to. Trust me when I say that you probably want to just go ahead and double the recipe.
The word Orgeat (French for "Almond Syrup") may sound intimidating, but this couldn't be easier. Just grind up your favorite nuts (in this case, Pecan), let them steep in simple syrup overnight and boom. Beautiful, nutty, delicious syrup. The additions of orange blossom water, vanilla bean, and just a touch of bourbon take this pecan orgeat and send it over the edge.
Also, don't forget that this was originally intended to pair with that outrageous bourbon candy I fell in love with. So get some Happy Balls! The amazing folks at Old Louisville Candy Kitchen are offering 21% off all Happy Balls, Dream Dongs AND inappropriate T-Shirts until September 21st, 2001. Just enter code "SAVIDGE" on any order over $21, and thank me later!! Trust me, your mouth will be super happy!
