Open or Closed Clubface At Impact? Simple Way To Fix It

No one comes through with the face square every time. Even the best players have an open or closed clubface through impact which leads to slicing and hooking the ball. Obviously, most amateur players have an open clubface. Wouldn't it be great if there was a simple way to fix it? Well, I came up with this drill not too long ago that will allow you to perfectly square the face as you are working on your swing.

You can do this simple drill at home, at the range and even when you play. If you keep repeating it as much as you can, you will learn how to be square instead of having an open or closed clubface through impact thus eliminating slice and hook spin on the ball.

This putter tip really works ! ...sometimes I get stuck on the takeaway and have to regrip (didn't know why until now)
I used to fan the clubface open on the takeaway years ago, by design ( i know, wrong) And it still creeps up on me with the driver takeaway sometimes....The Putter tip here proved it and fixes it !

How do that work? It's easy to square up a putter but the driver your hooking is going 100 mph faster ?

A shank doesn’t come from an open club face on impact it comes from an open club face in the back swing and closing it upon impact

Paul. I don't buy this one.. Face direction at impact is only half of the hook/slice equation. The other half is swing path. If my path is severely in to out, I may still need an open face at impact to keep the ball on the fairway. If it's perfectly square to target at impact, I'm going to get a big hook.

I get what you're saying, but I wouldn't be doing that. While people are trying to putt, you're liable to piss people off in your group.
