Maria suggests that the easiest thing most higher handicappers can do is to adjust their grip or set up at address to correct a consistent miss during a round. For example, if a golfer is experiencing a consistent block, they could make sure their set up isn't open or their grip isn't too weak and adjust if it is.

A single digit or scratch golfer might be able to manipulate the club face during the swing in order to add a draw or a face to the shot. But, you should understand that either is just a temporary fix. A swing fault causing a miss needs to be corrected and grooved on the practice tee, not on the golf course.
