Thanks for posting this. I'll have to test all the methods because so far none of it is working, but seriously, shame on #Steam for being so incompetent. We should not be having to do all this crap just to get it working. It should be download and play like any other game, with all the necessary files attached. Those hacks need to get their act together.

Ive tried everything and it still wouldnt launch, all it does it goes to a blank blue windows screen (exactly like your background) and it will be there for 20 or 10 seconds then it would go back to the desktop where all my apps are at, then steam-stardew valley would pop up saying its not responding.

at this point idk what to do, it did this too terraria.

I tried all methods but still not working Its says The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found .Reinstalling the program may fix this problem

Killer Instinct wouldn't work for hell

Now its perfect without Run as date and any other methods.

Currently Trying the 3rd method and if it doesnt work Ill Just delete Steam and Redownload it again with the Game itself.

EDIT: It didnt work for me..however if this recently happened to you and you just updated your pc Software it might has something to do with The Drivers of your Pc Components like Graphic Cards, Sound, Motherboard Etc. all you need to do is to scan if there is an update for your Drivers and if there is try to Update it and it will soon fix the issue.
