More than 60,000 women serve in Ukraine's military..
Sex in the City star and Special Envoy for the UNHCR, Kristin Davis joined us on Saturday to celebrate the extraordinary bravery of Ukraine's women, many of whom serve as volunteers in Ukraine's military.
In a solemn, but defiant event, we were there to show our solidarity for Ukraine and in particular its women, and women everywhere who fight in the face of aggression, hate and abuse.
There are no words to express my incredible pride to attend this important event, an event that saw many Ambassador's address a packed audience, including my friends the honourable Ambassador's of Ukraine and the US.
Organised by the National Congress of Ukrainians of Moldova, Olesia Shevchenko, and our very own Elena Prysiazhniuk, this proved a powerful event, showcasing the immense strength and resilience of women everywhere.
At Hope4 we are too surrounded by strong and brilliant women, from my beautiful wife Zoe Lomas, to Hope4's Lea Turner, Laura Croudace, Tatiana Iurco, Janet Josiah and Iuliia Dinisiuk and today I just want to celebrate them.
Together #WeAreHope4 desperate women being oppressed and exploited everywhere!
