Slick marketing campaigns and deals on luxury dental vacations are luring a growing number of Floridians to countries like Costa Rica for common procedures like root canals, dental implants and crowns, an ABC Action News review found.

I love the way these dentist in the US are so pompous. I have ended up in terrible shape because my dentist of many years kept telling me I had a sinus infection but my teeth were perfect. A few years on I changed dentists because of the recurring problems. After taking X-rays and finding out I had several molars decaying between the teeth and needed multiple root canals and caps which did last several years before that failed too. I went to Mexico and had a wonderful dentist repair my teeth for a out $2000.

Theyre upset because they are losing money. Ofcourse you will have negative things to say. How about the US Dentist STOP charging so much for dental work. Also Ive research tons of dentist here in the US and their work is not as good as the dentist overseas.

I just paid 2000$ for 1 tooth extraction today. WTF, I sucked it up because its an emergency (sudden extreme toothache). It also took 2 days. On top of that insurance wont even help. F the system.

My wife and I always dreaded buying a new car because the experience was such a ridiculous process of haggling and trying to figure out a deal where one would even understand how much one was actually paying. Now it's like that when going to the dentist or a doctor in the U.S. It's just like going to a used care dealership.

I just had root canal done for my tooth in India, and it cost me just $140, with the dental cap (high end one). The max it can go is double the amount. It's all better now. Nothing botched up.

6 years ago I had 10 normal size implants done in Colombia for 6000$ then when the healed I had an upper and lower fixed bridge attached for 4000$. This was the same exact procedure I was quoted 75, 000$ dollars for in new York city. Don't get ripped off by American dentist their criminals with white coats be smart dental tourism is a fascinating experience. Read the reviews from overseas there from normal people like me and you.

A close friend was quoted 70.000 dollars for His dental work.
He is broke but His dad pay for His procedures in Colombia and have everything done for 11k.
Excellent work.
I truly think this people are so used to those big numbers that lost sense of reality of what 70.000k means for a normal person.
People living pay check to pay check never in 1000 years are gonna see that kind of money.

Here in North Dakota it is $7500 for the cheapest dental implant. No one can afford that!

Geez so some American dentist caution us on going to a foreign country for dental care. What a surprise! My financial advice cautioned me ongoing to a US Dentist. Let’s face it folk the US has great need to revise our medical system. Medical so-called professionals primary focus has nothing to do with fair treatment of their patients. Doctors run as many people through their offices as the can. How can that practice be beneficial to those needing or seeking medical diagnosis, treatment or evaluation? Short answer is it isn’t and it hasn’t been about the patients for far to long. If you don’t agree with me I’m guessing you have a medical professional in the family. That’s why you take Pharma perks, referral benefits etc at your practices, and else where but think of it as just part of doing business. It’s also why so many can’t agree on Covid treatment.

I am in Florida and my Dentist filled a tooth 3 months ago. Now its bad and needs pulled or a root canal. Crown. My Dentist says he doesnt pull molars and is referring me to an oral sugeon to pull it. Cost 1100 to 1500. For one tooth. The root canal is also 1100, and then the crown 1800, so im getting it pulled. As we age Dental gets very expensive.

So I am going to get Implants, so I have been doing some research and what I have found is that the dentist abroad and here in the states use the same materials. So please tell how in the hell a U S dentist can charge me 40 grand when I can get the same work in another country 15000?
