If the first day of classes is coming up and you're feeling a bit nervous or undecided about how best to prepare, never fear. I've put together a short video detailing some of the things I do in the lead up to the first class, namely: preparing a lesson that represents what I will be emphasizing throughout the semester, getting my schedule, locating my classes, and assessing the condition of my classrooms.

Don't forget to subscribe and turn on that notification bell, so you will receive an update whenever I add a new video to this series.

Thanks for watching!

I am really enjoying your videos. Can you tell us if you have a system to remember your students names? I have a really hard time with this, especially names in a different language and a large class of students.

Hi. Love your informative videos! Could you tell me how long the average class is? From what I can gather, it's 45 mins?

Do you have any further recommendations or resources to incorporate into a Chinese classroom?
