This is so exhilarating. I felt the same way in China. I felt so welcomed by the people. The child that came up to you to show off his English made me well up in tears and shout in laughter because the heart of a child has no boundaries. I'm so proud of him. The kindness of the Grandmother who gave you her coat. These things are so beautiful. I wish others could know how this feels. Bravo! I am so happy for you. This is how I think of China. This feeling of warmth was my experience as well. :)

Loved your video! Fun to see all of your students. I remember from our travels to China how very friendly the people are and how many of them wanted to practice English. Looking forward to your next video. Keep ‘me coming!

I really enjoyed hearing about your year teaching. That is crazy your class filled up so fast! It sounded like your students had fun learning about American holidays. The weekly dinners when you were tutoring sounded very entertaining!

Can completely relate to the fear of using a new language, even once you learn it when you speak it, you of course have an entirely different accent so people tend to look right a you to listen carefully and that in itself when you’re unsure makes you feel quite put in the spotlight. I’m doing a TEFL course just now so hearing your experiences are so great! 😃

What a great glimpse of your life as a teacher in China! I love how you infuse culture into your lessons. I agree that learning language is not just about grammar. Your Halloween story is super cute! 🥰

This is what should happen between Chinese people and American people, learning about each other, making friends. Those politicans are poisoning the relationship.

Hi! Me and my girlfriend are interviewing with companies in China. I’m primarily interested in teaching university and potentially business English. Would you mind sharing how the recruitment process went for that, and the type of resume that got you the job? I’m concerned mine may be too lengthy.

Be honest English is not too important for ppl who are living in China. we speak mandarin instead of English in China. English is just a language. Chinese ppl spent too much money and time to learn English. I don’t think that’s worth unless they have plan to move to west countries.
