Im a new house owner, first one in my family actually and so I'm just learning about all the things that come along with ownership. Im in a 90s build and there are multiple white grills, theres actually 3. One in the living room on the wall towards the ground, one in the guest room in the closet on the wall towards the ground and one in the hallway on the ceiling. None of them have those pull tabs and they are all screwed in, are these not what im looking to change? None of them even have a filter on them! Haha could you help me out? Is it in the attic?

I have a filter in the furnace/blower in the garage and i also have a vent inside the home like this, but it doesn’t have a filter . Do i need a filter for each one of these areas? (Its a one story recently built home)

SUPER helpful video THANK YOU! I have a ceiling filter intake exactly like this. Is this the ONLY filter or could there be another filter inside the unit that is in my attic? I can go and look if needed but trying to avoid heat stroke if the answer is NO, there’s only one filter. Thanks in advance!!!
