I really needed this video. I've been seeing so many people "remove" the core the ghetto way (which was them only removing the lock nut so the small pin can move freely into the tube) to inject sealant in, but that wasn't "professional" enough for me. This is the proper, and best way. Thanks!

Can’t tell you how long I’ve ridden with bent valves, worrying about them breaking. You made the solution simple. Thanks!

Thank you! I had a bad valve core but didn't really know it, I tried to pump up the tire and it just backed up into the pump like you explained. I didn't have a clue how to fix the problem until I watched your video. So I ordered a little kit with the tool and valves and I will try to fix it. Thanks again!

I have a little baggy full of these as well as complete valves just in case. The more you ride the more stuff you learn to use and collect.

Thanks, helped a lot. FYI you can use the tools he shows, or just loosen it with some pliers and then take it off by hand. Worked great for me!!

Mark, Nice simple video and great info on replacing a presta valve. Had watched a different video that had indicated if the presta valve was bent, the entire tube needed to be replaced., which didn't make sense to me. So well done!

Thanks! I recently got my first bike with a presta valve and I just noticed my valve was bent and I wasn't sure if I needed to take the whole valve off to fix it.

Hi thanks for the video, I just wanna ask if the thing is clogged and air won’t come out, do I just remove that core anyway? Thanks ❤

Hi, thanks for the video, made things look more easy. One question, is there different size valve cores or are they all standard size for a push bike?

Do you need All the tools or just one? Also the thing where you press to get the air out broke so whenever I press it the whole thing comes down, any help is appreciated

This was good, but my problem is that the lower, internal part of my valve core did not come out when I removed my valve core. I need a way to get it out. Tweezers don’t seem to be working.
