1) knows her worth and doesn’t operate from a place of neediness
2) loves and respects herself
3) being kind and compassionate to others.
4) self aware and has high emotional intelligence
5) Grounded and maturing —not manipulative
6) not afraid 😱 to speak 🗣 her mind and comes from a place of honesty
7) self care 💇‍♀️ (both physically, emotionally, and health wise).

Since losing my husband I feel stuck in limbo. Everyday is a challenge but I push through the motions. Everyday I put on my makeup, do my hair, and try to dress nice even when I just want to give up and hibernate. I go out into the world and go through the motions of living. Usually I go for walks, grocery shopping, or to thrift stores . I try to talk to other people and show them kindness because so many people are also just going through the motions too. Every time I leave my house I ask God for grace and to let me be a light to others . Thank you for your voice and heart to help other women, you are a real inspiration .

Thank you Sandra! I have Pure-OCD, and if anyone knows what that disorder entails, it's one of the mental illnesses that makes it hardest to value oneself. On an intellectual level I do know my worth. One of my dreams is to make a great companion to my future husband, but I know VERY well how it feels to be with someone who cannot give back. A lot of people judge me for saying that my dream is to be a good wife, because they think I'll take any man who gives me the time of day, but that's not true. And vice-versa - if I don't truly love someone, he deserves someone who will. Nevertheless, I've got a lot of internal healing to do. I also could use some brushing up on my kindness skills, regardless of my mental illness. 😊

I love your channel, and I think you are gorgeous, honestly. I have spent my childhood and teens feeling ugly and invisible, then went to getting more attention for my looks in my 20s and now early 30s and I realized that being pretty is just a different kind of invisibility. Just because people look at you doesn't mean they see you.

Listen I'm in my early 30's and no matter how young or old you are, the advice in this video is timeless ♡ thank you for being such an amazing, calming presence. I never really had a relationship with a grandma but I can imagine it would be something like this

FYI: The man who stopped was ‘on his bike’. Several viewers thought I said something else. He was a man on a bike. I NEVER define anyone by their nationality, religion, race, political ideology or skin color. EVER! In reality he was a man from Connecticut who lives in the neighborhood. Sandra

I watched that Netflix Maid series with my college film study eyes. The series has more meaning than what's on the surface: women can be poor communicators, men have a hard time dealing with women with mental issues, men were also abused in their childhood, children are not taught how to resolve stressful situations.

I’m 45 but I’m subscribing. I’d rather be proactive and prepared early. I’m glad I stumbled on this channel. What a sweet sweet woman. She’s beautiful too.

I often felt invisible at age 9 in my family. I was the youngest of three kids. Your video helps me to further my understanding of how to grasp true self-worth now as a 60-ish person.Thank you!❤️

Im a 42 y/o nurse who cares for my 92 y/o widowed grandmother. I have given much thought to things I never would have considered as a result of seeing my grandmas life.. Much of your words really resonate with me. So much wisdom people of all ages could benefit from. New subscriber here. Thank you 😊

Thank you, Sandra. This message was much needed at this time in my life. I’ve learned that you have to care for your own self (physically and emotionally) because, sometimes, there is no one else to do that important job. You are your strongest support system. Be an advocate for yourself and others will notice.

Good Afternoon Sandra, I'm smiling because my friend Laine and I recently had this conversation. I'm 72 and she is 76. We laughed about why bother with makeup when running into the grocery store because no one will be paying any attention to us. But, we get the why of it since it's about one's outward physical appearance. We have agreed that our strength is in our self confidence and knowing ourselves and the accomplishments that have brought us to this place in time. You are a true blessing with the uplifting and worthwhile topics you bring to us. Blessings, Diane

I absolutely love your channel! My husband passed away in my arms almost a year ago, 48 hours after my birthday. So my birthday is coming up, turning 42 - I really didn't envision this AT all and I know I am still young and have a lifetime ahead of me, but I feel sad. I feel sad that my husband's health and addition struggles got him, I am sad that we are not going to grow up together, I am sad for my 9 year old son growing up without his father and so on.
I am just not even sure how to pick myself up, what do I want from life? I don't want to be alone, but I have no drive or desire to go out again.

I hope this fog passes, I have to get back on track and get out and conquer the world like I did before I met my husband.

Sandra - If we as women (and men) truly knew who we were and where our worth comes from we would all live by the Golden Rule and our world would a better place. I believe that the angst in our country right now shows us that so many people are lost and hurting so they reach out and hurt others. Thank you as always for your inspiration.

And yes, when one feels love with ourselves, others feel it and it's like a virus of goodness that spreads and everyone around us, our neighbors, coworkers, families and even strangers benefit!❤️🙏

I am very isolated where l live on Long Island NY...l am 79 and l believe that l am unique and special...educated, fun 😊 and
Yes a high Value woman.
I understand the male gender...they are who they are... there's a time for that...
I raised my sons by myself from age 7 and 9...
I am also aging gracefully...no work done....
I do not have time for men who are in the hunt...l have risen above that base drive... been there done that.
I reach out always to others with a high level of EQ.
I have always been a woman of substance.
Thank you Sandra.
