Hello, I'm Michelle and I have schizophrenia. I document my psychosis episodes using a security camera in my apartment to demonstrate that they are typically non-violent. I am simply sitting on my couch, talking to myself and making angry faces, but I am not causing harm to anyone or being dangerous.

If seeing the camera snaps you out of it, have you tried wearing a smart watch that sends you a Taptic alert when there is motion on the same camera? I am curious if the Taptic sensation (that is when the watch or phone vibrates for notifications) would work as well as you needing to turn your head to see the camera. Even a very inexpensive smart watch, so long as it pairs with camera app on your phone, should be able to give you notifications on movement detected.

Millionth time I had a moment like this earlier I was explaining how exergy is the opposite of energy and that it's different from having no energy negative temperature energy is exergy something which has high energy has +°C and something with high exergy has -°c also...

The cold surface has high exergy and low energy

The hot surface has high energy and low exergy

It's a new word so I can say nitrogen has exergy potential... As opposed to nitrogen has a high negative temperature potential

Why is it that all the videos of schizophrenia episodes that I watch, I see the same hologram faces on their walls as I do mine? And I don't think these are my hallucinations, because they wouldn't move perfectly with me scrolling the video up and down my screen if they were. They would remain in place or move much slower than I can move the video around. Such a bizarre 'illness'. So real yet nobody else can see/ feel it.

My wife left me on Valentine's Day this year after 37 years of marriage. She met somebody on Facebook and moved to a different state. But I also suffer from schizophrenia and now heart failure.

I have schizoaffective disorder so how can you be both in reality and have episodes at the same time because I do have schizophrenia but I have bipolar too but when I'm in psychosis I can't tell the difference between reality and my episodes but if I am in psychosis to long I end up believing my episodes so as long as I am on my meds I know pretty much what's going on and I have to stay on my meds because I don't like my hallucinations they are horrible and mean

Hi Hammer!! I hate talking about what I hear. I have been diagnosed 20+ years but have found if I don't tell anyone what they say I am sweet. I look normal. I could pass as normal, yet they labeled me, locked me away. They took my life away all because of what I said and what others heard me say talking to the voices. Funny Most, if not all has come true. I don't think I'll make Christmas :( Health problems got me like.... yeh my mind is about the only half good thing left. Do you have other health issues?
