Writing a bucket list the best method I have found to turn yourself into a high value man. Figure out what you want to get out of life, given that you only have a finite amount of time, and you probably don't want to be on your deathbed with only a few days left to live, wishing you had done more and lived your life differently.


By making a list, you are essentially setting yourself goals that you really do want to achieve. And they should be your goals, not someone else's. They can be big or small, easy or insane to achieve, it doesn't matter, as long as you are working towards them, you will always feel a sense of satisfaction when you achieve them, which will give you are real sense of achievement and a real self esteem boost. For example, see a particular movie could be one goal, and that is easy to achieve. And when he is on his deathbed, he will be content, because he will have achieved almost everything that he wanted to achieve during his life.
