In the first Hotel Transylvania movie, Dracula is able to freeze Mavis and others during the rap song at the end, but when Drac tries to freeze everyone at the anniversary party, Mavis doesn't get frozen. Then, he states that he forgot, he can't freeze other vampires which is a plot hole because he very clearly froze Mavis in the first Hotel Transylvania movie. Also in the second movie Drac freezes Mavis again when he talks to Jonny about how Dennis's Vampa will steal the souls of all his human family and eat Jonny's backpack.

Honestly I think they ruined hotel Transylvania. The first one was fine, it didn't have to much cartoon animation but the 4th one went too far. I wish they still kept the old animation.
