iPhone 16 Pro: Display Issues [The Next 'Gate'?]

There seems to be a display issue on the iPhone 16 Pro models. Multiple issues, in fact. Some, like me, are noticing that the display isnt sensitive and sometimes ignores taps whenever youre swiping or texting, and others are noticing issues when touching an area near the camera capture button. Both issues are not on the standard iPhone 16, from what I've noticed.

Hey, I just saw another Indian YouTuber complaining about the same thing. He was innocently showing how the display sometimes doesn't respond to touches. We thought it was just a software glitch, but now that more people are complaining, it seems like it's a real issue!

15 pro max on developer beta here. After ios 18.1 5 beta update, I am now seeing this issue. Did not have this before. Probably software issue.

Thanks for this. I thought I was going mad yesterday with the screen not registering touch in top left corner. I use one handed in left hand so realised my fingers were resting on/near camera control. No issues if used with my right hand.

16 Pro Max, here. I've been experiencing this touchscreen inconsistency as well. It happens intermittently, unrelated to the camera control button, especially while texting. My partner hasn't noticed this on her 16 Pro, but she isn't as sensitive to these issues.

My m4 iPad Pro was acting the same way until iOS 18.1 beta 5 released yesterday. Fixed it

probably these small ass bezels causing the issue. almost impossible to game or type landscape without accidentally touching the edge of the phone

Hey, I have the same problem. First I was thinking maybe it’s the screen protector, my old 15 pro max never has this problem. Please i hope it’s just the software. 😢

Phones are so close to even 3-4 year old iPhones, that you should hold onto the oldest software update support phone. Which is the xs, xs max and xr. So hold onto those for one more year

This happened to my Apple Watch Ultra 2 a few months ago (yes, not an iPhone but still), super sporadic ghost touches, watchOS firmware update 10.4 fixed it.

Iphone 16 Pro Max here. Having the same issues. Touch screen is unresponsive sometimes, especially when typing and scrolling. Even I put my phone on the table while typing, it's still the same. The keyboards lagging or unresponsive sometimes. It's annoying
