I’d say opening apps isn’t a true test of speed. Rather, it seems like an unnecessary test at this point.

Phones are so fast that not only is the difference very negligible but most users aren’t thinking about which opens what faster. Since the transition is seamless with everything.

Of course that wasn’t the only thing you did here, but that doesn’t change what I think.
