iPhone 16 Pro Max: Day 3 Reality Check - What you NEED to know!

I've been using the iPhone 16 Pro Max for 3 days now and some of my thoughts have changed since my last update video.
The phone is great, but it plays a bit too safe. Theres not a lot of changes from even the 14 Pro Max. The Camera Capture Button is cool, but it adds more steps to do the same thing you could already do on the display.

I'm really tired of most Youtubers asking "Should people with the 15 pro upgrade?" Four EFFING YEARS, people, that's how long you should hold on to one of these. People with the iPhone 12 (or below) should be the ones ordering this. Not people with a 15, 14, or even a 13. Those are all perfectly fine phones, and unless your battery is completely shot (read sub 75% health) then put it back in your pocket and quit watching these videos.

I upgraded from the 14 pro to 16 pro max. Mainly cause I wanted a bigger battery and screen. But also my carrier gave me the phone for $200 with my trade in. So I call it a win win for me!

The cost of the device is absurd given a new model is released annually with minimal improvements. still using a 13PM for almost 3 years. Still performs really well. Just the battery life that's not great any more. Still, the urge to upgrade is there with usb c, much brighter display, lighter weight, fairly better battery life, faster 45w charging, better cameras and 2gb extra ram. It is more like a 15S if they continued to use the previous naming scheme

I've been subscribed for a bit but now notis are turned on. I really appreciate the RAW and truthfulness about the Capture button. The tech community on Youtube seems to be split into two camps: 1) the folks who love tech and will give Apple an honest but fair review and 2) the folks who just love (and keeping it real) and are paid by Apple who are like, "This is the best phone ever you MUST upgrade, the capture button is the best thing since the invention of the wheel!" That latter camp I'm unsubscribing from but I'm glad you give the honest reviews on it.

Had the first couple of iphones switched to Android from the beginning haven't looked back. Thought about joining the dark side really only 2 reasons resell value and battery. I keep waiting but iphone is just iphone lol. I've thought about waiting for the s25 ultra.I have the pixel 7 pro haven't been impressed tbh. Thanks for the honest reviews!

Changed the battery on my iPhone 13 Pro at the Apple Store. I am not upgrading until I see a complete redesign maybe in 2025 or 26. This the longest I had a phone 3 years plus.
