Do you mind pointing me towards a resource on the managed properties, I am struggling to get my managed metadata into the search filters.

Thank you for sharing Laura! Always enjoy your Power Hour! A quick question, I have been using pnp Search web part, but the version is 4.1. Now the latest version is 4.7. How can I update the web part to the latest version? Should I delete the current version and install the latest version? Is it going to effect the pages? Thank you!

Hello, Laura. May I ask do you know if there is any way to let the research box only search the current page that I am creating? I want to create something like search keyword stuff. But I don't know how to do it :( Thanks!

Looks like when trying to select a custom column in the Content type Gallery, they are not available. Only columns that come with Sharepoint are. Is this true or am I missing something?

Hi this API is great however I wish to bring in a simple Search in this list when I have imported a list of company tel directory on a site page
Problem is on a site page I see Search In this site and the results are not user friendly.

Can one limit this search function to the current Sharepoint Site and not across all sites?

Hello. I have a question please. In fact, when searching on sharepoint online (whether it is a site search or a document library search), it is done in the metadata and in the content of the documents; this does not make the search accurate. I would like to know, please, how I can configure the search settings so that my searches are only done on the metadata. Thank you

It was the lack of information in the documentation that forced me to look for additional info on YouTube. The title of this video gave me hope, but unfortunately still left me in disappointment in the end. Consider you had also encountered some difficuties during the recording of this session I am sure you agree the scenario documentation was also not perfect. So many of the configuration settings were not explained properly in the documentation and the webpart themselves were not intuitive enough except perhaps for the search box.

I had also encountered the newly mapped refinable string managed property not showing up in the filter webpart even 24 hours after it was mapped to the crawled property. And then one of my colleagues told me to force a reindex of my list which finally got it showed up in the filter webpart. Crucial Information like this missing from the documentation drives users nuts.

My next objective is to create custom template for people search so that the results webpart displays more user properties in it. I wonder how long that's gonna take me...
