How does rotary broaching work?

Using a rotary broach tool holder and a rotary broach, you can machine precise shapes on your lathe or mill. The tool holder holds the broach at a one degree angle and is driven by the workpiece. This creates a wobble action which rapidly cuts the form one corner at a time as the broach is fed through the workpiece.
