Yo what happened to the channel. I can remember 8 years back when I first got access to youtube in junior high, this channel was hitting insane numbers. Then covid came, you guys switched to the podcast, which kinda got killed sometime last year and the last time I listened/watched was when the straightpipes were on. Now the channel is barely getting any interactions yet getting 1m views. Not tryna call out bs but... BS. The video is still the same formula that you guys have been using for a while now but its obvious that the subscribers have lost immense interest due to the switch over to the podcast style content. I truly miss the old Unbox therapy, with the quirky new tech reviews and showcases which I would sit down and chow on a bowl of noodles or cereal to. I just miss the old content and I think that alot of people miss that content as well. As i dont know what is going on behind the scenes, i just hop all is well and really hope yall can come back atleast with an address to our community of quirky tech people.

This doesn't feel like a comment section from a 1 million views video

With the 1080p version you can go into Nvidia Control panel and activate DSR to upscale to 4K and maintain the high refresh rate the monitor offers while in 1080p mode.

Technology is amazing

I've had the 39inch for about a month now and the 45inch LG OLED since the start of the year and seriously the picture quality is awesome when gaming on both of them.

I thought OLED refresh was never an issue, brightness has been the limiting factor when compared to LCD right?

The matte finish ruins it for me. They make light switches, shades or blinds for a reason.

I still have a LG 38GN950 and waiting for a new OLED version with better HDR etc.. These new versions are cool and a good first step, but I do not like the big curve and lower resolution.. I hope they'll make big OLED widescreens with less curve and higher resoluton soon..

Using an old Acer 32 inches B326HK (bought 85$ used) and its already the best one for me, pretty sure these new 32" LG OLED's are super duper amazing!. Would want to own some in the future when destiny and budget allows...

the biggest OLED supplier has the vaguest OLED Warranty for this model while the ASUS 32" Dual mode monitor with the same exact panel specifies what warranty it covers

I bought the Alienware AW2725DF. 27“ QD-OLED, 1440p, 360hz, NO MATTE DISPLAY. That’s pretty much endgame for me.

Sorry LG. Not getting my money on ultra wide and curved monitors. The only one that interests me is the 32" but that's too small for me now.
I'm currently using an LG C1 48" OLED 120Hz which I use for gaming and work, I have a large desk and I have the 48" OLED at arms length.

For gaming and depending on the game, I mostly use custom resolutions of 3840x1600 or 3840x1440. Only use the full 3840x2160 for slow paced adventure or tactical games.

For work I use the full 3840x2160. I work in graphic / web design and video editing, so I don't want curved displays warping my shit. I want straight lines not warped curves 😆

I also have a 27" monitor on the left side and at this point I'm not going smaller than 40" ever again or anything worse than OLED ever again.

I'm only upgrading from this LG C1 when this screen dies or when there's something of similar specs and size but at 240Hz or more.

If anyone is reading this comment, please reply if you are knowledgeable about this topic. There are two types of monitor displays: IPS and VA. Many YouTubers use VA monitors, which are curved. However, VA monitors are generally considered best for gaming and movies due to their high contrast ratio. For video editing, IPS displays are preferred because of their high color accuracy. Using a VA monitor for editing could pose issues in color grading when viewing the video on other devices.

Could someone explain why many YouTubers, prefer VA monitors and how they avoid encountering these problems? I personally like VA monitors for their curved and ultrawide features. However, I'm uncertain whether I should opt for two monitors or if a single VA monitor would suffice for all purposes. Please share your experience if you have insights on this issue. The main point is I love VA due to more curved features.

It was about time companies do smaller stands.. a monitor is not fighting a hurrican.. it stands on a desk
