I think that second piece fell through the cracks and that’s why it looked like he was messing around and getting distracted! He still continued the task even though he didn’t get his payment! Smart little fella

Wow, I have a 3 month old CC that doesn't heel that good. The difference between pro and noob is real lol. Great job!

I’ve realized that having these tricks help the dog understand easier.

I have 3 Belgian malinios (all 8 months old). I have to say from experience, they are so incredibly fast at learning. Heel, between the legs, encircling on command, w.e it may be, they will learn it insanely fast even at incredibly young ages.

My 7 month old knows heel and will get into a perfect position. Head equal to my thigh/ hip. However when we’re walking loose she insists in her front flank being equal to my thighs/ hip.
Any tip on how I can get her to walk in the correct position head equal?
I have tried treats, collar corrections, verbal w/ corrections. Turning into her and bumping her with my knees. Holding her tight in position and praise and treat. As soon as I give her a little slack or treat her when she in the proper position she immediately takes those two steps forward. We’ve been working on this for awhile now and I’m getting frustrated at this point.
Mind you she doesn’t pull and it’s only a few steps but I should be able to turn left and her turn with me effortlessly rather than stumbling into her.

I’ve never seen an all black! I’d be pure bred? My Malonis was all around my best dog and she lived after being attacked by a giant schnauzer and German Shepard! Was 21 when she passed! I miss her daily!

What treats are you using? I use the dog kibble (my pups food), but they’re small, I would like something a little larger, my hands have issues due to arthritis. Good training as usual👍

Where is that clicker from? I haven't seen one worn as a ring - I need it. So hard to do some training with a clicker on my wrist

My 6 week old mal puppy does this with no box, in reality he’s just sticking with me seeking protection or some other reason but hey, we reward the behavior🤣

Do you add a command using the heel box to get them to understand the position without luring ?

Maybe a stupid question but do you keep the prong collar on only for training or do you leave it on
